With respect to Commission Regulation no. 669/2009 the designated point of entry for certain feed (other than of animal origin) was determinated. This point of entry in the Czech Republic is the Prague Ruzyně Airport. Feed that is subject to increased level of official controls is listed in Annex I to the above-mentioned Regulation (groundnuts (peanuts) and trace elements from China). Feed business operators shall give adequate prior notification of the estimated date and time of physical arrival of the consignment at the designated point of entry and the nature of the consignment.

In accordance with Commission Regulation no. 1135/2009 importers are also obliged to give prior notification to the control point and the estimated date and time of arrival of the consignments originating in or consigned from China of ammonium bicarbonate intended for feed and feed containing milk, milk products, soya and soya products.
